Riveter Consulting Group is currently seeking a talented, high-level, Housekeeper for a lovely UHNW family based in Malibu. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience in a lead housekeeping role, ideally for a similar type of UHNW household where they have not only managed a large residence, but have also managed other Housekeepers and vendors in the home. Must love dogs, have a valid CA Driver’s License and a car to drive for errands, and be able to help with the management of the Principal’s two homes in the LA area. This is not a traditional housekeeping role, but a high-level position that includes some house management components, with the primary focus on housekeeping. We are looking to hire someone for this lovely family who can be a valued addition to the household for many years. This is a special family that truly values their employees. Must be able to pass an in-depth background check and profile excellent references.


Monday-Friday, but must be flexible on weekends as needed

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures
  • Cleaning and sanitizing toilets, showers/bathtubs, countertops, and sinks
  • Maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen area
  • Washing windows as required
  • Vacuuming and cleaning carpets and rugs
  • Scheduling carpet cleaners for rug and furniture cleaning
  • Sweeping/vacuuming, polishing, and mopping hard floors
  • Using any cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, and other cleaning tools
  • Maintaining all the cleaning equipment
  • Polish wood furniture and brass/silver fixtures and ensure that they are dusted on a regular basis
  • Cleaning mirrors and other glass surfaces
  • Handling of art
  • Emptying trash receptacles and disposing of waste
  • Making beds and changing linens
  • Sorting, washing, loading, and unloading laundry
  • Arranging dry cleaning services
  • Ironing or steaming clothing items and pressing linens
  • Keeping bathrooms stocked with clean linens, toiletries, and other supplies
  • Tidying up rooms
  • Monitoring cleaning supplies and ordering more as needed
  • Reporting any necessary repairs or replacements
  • Make beds in guest rooms, turn mattresses and ensure that sufficient pillows and blankets are available
  • Prepare guest rooms as soon as guests leave to make them presentable for the next one
  • Daily housekeeping for guests
  • Organize drawers and straighten closets
  • Rotate seasonal clothing and shoes for principal
  • Care for household pets (must love dogs!)
  • Arrange and care for flowers
  • Run errands shopping for groceries or other shopping items
  • Occasionally driving the principal when it is required
  • Help with some of the car maintenance
  • Arrange seasonal opening and closing for pool and ponds
  • Setting the table and helping organize for parties and entertaining
  • Helping with packing/unpacking
  • Exterior cleaning of porch and furniture
  • Make sure the garage is kept clean and organized
  • Cleaning and all detail work of all LA properties (two homes near Malibu area)
  • Executing special projects when required
  • Answering phone calls and taking messages
  • Answering the door for deliveries and guests
  • Shipping and receiving
  • Training and supervising new staff
  • Organizing and submitting Visa receipts
  • Staying overnight when it is required


DOE, $40-45/hour plus benefits
