Riveter Consulting Group is assisting a family in Brooklyn Heights, New York to unearth a full-time fluent French speaker Mother’s Helper/Nanny.

About the Family:
We are a fun, active family with two cats, a toddler (1-year-old), and a newborn expected soon. Both parents are seeking someone who will feel at home in our family dynamic, work collaboratively with mom (a stay-at-home mom), and build a long-term relationship with us. This role also involves assisting the grandmother, who will help with the newborn.

Start Date: June 2025

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 12 PM–8 PM
Flexibility required for occasional travel (including up to 2 weeks internationally)

Key Responsibilities:

Nanny Support:

  • Engage in creative and playful activities with our toddler
  • Provide attentive care for the newborn once born (e.g., diaper changes, feeding, maintaining nap schedules)
  • Follow and maintain consistent childcare routines

Household Support:

  • Light cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
  • Kitchen cleanup and organization
  • Run errands (e.g., shopping, dry cleaning)

Travel:

  • Accompany the family on occasional international trips (passport readiness required)

Requirements:

  • Fluent in English and French
  • Excellent childcare experience (with toddlers and newborns)
  • Positive attitude and ability to collaborate with mom in a “tag-team” approach
  • Comfortable in a home with cats

Compensation

$35/hour (paid via payroll) + Includes health stipend, 2 PTO days, and travel opportunities
